  • Brief description

The Zeiss Axioscope 5 is an upright optical microscope designed for routine materials analysis. It works by illuminating a sample from below (transmitted light) or above (reflected light). The objective lens then magnifies the image for viewing. Its primary uses are for quality control and material inspection, providing clear brightfield and darkfield images to analyze microstructures, surfaces, and defects efficiently.

  • Specifications

-Illumination & Optics: Reflected light via coaxial, infinity-corrected optics (ICS).

    -Nosepiece: Coded 6-position

-Reflector Turret: Coded 4-position reflector turret

-Advanced Darkfield (ADF):Provides a very dark background by minimizing stray light and chromatic aberration, enabling detection of the finest structures.

-Apertures: Both aperture and field diaphragms are continuously adjustable

-Viewing Tube: Trinocular tube with a wide Field of View (FOV) of 23mm

-Eyepieces: Wide-field 10x/23 eyepieces with individual diopter adjustment.

-Camera: A 5-megapixel color CCD camera from the same brand (Zeiss).

-Objectives: Set of five high-contrast EC objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x), optimized for high resolution.
