HBUT and Hubei province, led by foreign academician prof. Young Hee Lee, launched a new Center to aim to establish global research hub for one-stop research on layered quantum materials and devices, that promotes basic science and further fosters disruptive technology for industry. The Center for Low-Dimensional Quantum Materials (LQM) is located in Creative Innovation building B, which contains eight floors with a size of 16,000 m2. This consists of clean room/dry room/chemical room equipped with various equipment including 8 nm/30 nm EBLs, Photolithography, high-resolution TEM/STEM, FE-SEM, time-resolved ARPES, PPMS, MPMS, LT/5T-STM, XRD, XPS/UPS, AFM/Raman/PL/TRPL, MOKE, AFMs, Low Temperature-Angle resolved-PL, CVD/CVT, sputters, E-beam evaporators, etc. The Center aims to recruit top-tier leaders and young talents of faculty/postdocs/graduate students. The Center also invites visiting scientists/exchange program and adjunct professors.
