Institute of Low-Dimensional Quantum Materials Holds Mid-Autumn Festival Tea Session

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, to promote traditional Chinese culture and foster a united and warm atmosphere, LQMI hosted a Mid-Autumn Tea Party on September 24. Jason Hong, Executive Deputy Director of LQMI, presided over the event. All international faculty, students and domestic administrative staff gathered to celebrate the festival.

At the outset, Jason introduced the origin and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, explaining its cultural connotations of reunion and mutual support.

Inspired by the spirit, Jason then noted that high-quality development of LQMI relies on dedicated researchers together with comprehensive support from the administrative team. LQMI team needs to make concerted efforts and the administrative staff shall prioritize serving scientific research, improve efficiency and meet the needs of faculty and students to support high-impact research outputs. He called on all members to collaborate closely and build cross-cultural synergy.

Subsequently, participants shared recent insights and future plans during the open discussion session. They put forward suggestions on academic exchange, research environment and logistics support. The lively dialogue significantly strengthened team consensus.

Overall, the Mid-Autumn Festival Tea Session delivered festive warmth and brought everyone closer to each other. Going forward, LQMI will continue to build diverse communication platforms and advance the development of scientific research.
