On the morning of September 22, Vice-Chancellor Kavi Kumar Khedo from the University of Mauritius and Acting Vice-Chancellor and Principal Fulufhelo Netswera from the University of Venda, South Africa, visited the Institute of Low-Dimensional Quantum Materials (LQMI) for academic communication. The visit was hosted by Associate Professor Qinke Wu from LQMI.
Professor Wu gave a detailed introduction to LQMI construction, cutting-edge research directions, equipment and latest achievements. The guests gained a clear insight into LQMI One-Stop Research Platform covering the synthesis, characterization and device fabrication of low-dimensional quantum materials. They spoke highly of LQMI sound research facilities and forward-looking layout.
Following the tour, in-depth discussions on international academic exchanges and scientific collaboration were conducted. The two overseas universities expressed a strong willingness to deepen international engagement and educational cooperation, and hoped to establish a long-term communication mechanism.

Moving forward, LQMI will actively advance global academic exchanges and continuously elevate its international influence.
