Introduction

Professor Ki Kang Kim is a professor in the Department of Energy Science at Sungkyunkwan University. His research focuses on the synthesis of single-crystal two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals materials and their applications in next-generation electronic, optoelectronic, and energy devices. He has made significant contributions to the development of large-area single-crystal growth technologies, van der Waals heterostructures, and quantum materials. His research group is internationally recognized for advancing the scalable growth and integration of high-quality 2D materials for future semiconductor and energy technologies
