Introduction

Dr Qinghua Lv is an associate professor in the School of Science & School of chip at the Hubei University of Technology. She is an outstanding researcher who has been conducting research in the areas of Micro-nano processing technology, research on the properties of phase change materials and full-spectrum utilization of photovoltaic technology, Micro-nano dimensional measurement of photodetectors and chips, and non-destructive testing.She has strong numerical, computational, experimental, and simulation skills as well as comprehensive Optical analysis techniques based on Zemax® for thorough performance assessment and full spectrum utilization of PV systems. Dr. Lyu has managed and participated in over 45 research projects. Her prolific academic output includes over 60 publications in refereed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. During her time at the University of Nottingham (2018–2019), Dr. Qinghua Lyu contributed to several green technology projects. These included a Newton Fund collaboration between the UK and China focused on advanced glazing technology utilizing semi-transparent thin-film photovoltaic (PV) glazing, as well as an Innovate UK-funded project addressing Varroa mite population control in beehives through the application of phase change materials, both of which involved significant industrial collaboration. Currently, Dr. Lyu is based at the Hubei Optoelectronic Devices and Energy Efficiency Center, Hubei University of Technology, where she is actively engaged in multiple high-profile joint research projects. These include a collaboration with the University of New South Wales, Australia, funded by the Ministry of Education of China, which explores key technologies for an intelligent and efficient photovoltaic eco-agriculture system. She is also involved in a China-Sudan project on new photovoltaic ecological agriculture systems, and a China-South Africa collaboration with the University of Venda, focusing on photovoltaic hydrogen energy, both funded by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
