Introduction

Chen Yuan, a professor and assistant dean at the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Hubei University of Technology, is primarily engaged in teaching fundamental courses in materials science and conducting research in the field of new energy materials. He has published over 20 SCI papers.
In April 2023, he won the first prize in the engineering group of the Sixth National Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition, received the first prize for Teaching Achievements in Hubei Province in the same year, and was recognized as the “Most Popular Teacher Among Students” at Hubei University of Technology. In April 2022, he was awarded the Hubei Province “May 1st Labor Medal” and also received the honorary title of “Top Ten Teaching Ethics Model” at Hubei University of Technology in the same year. In 2021, he achieved first place and won the first prize in the engineering group of the Seventh Hubei Provincial Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition.
